Musalia Mudavadi, the head of the Amani National Congress, William Ruto, the vice president of the United Democratic Alliance, and Moses Wetangula, the CEO of Ford Kenya, have carried their joint ANC-UDA-FORD Kenya campaign to Bungoma county, where they have brought companies to a halt. The leaders spoke to the masses who had gathered to greet them, particularly Wetangula, who was returning to his home county.
Musalia Mudavadi, while speaking to the crowd, brought up the thorny issue of Azimio La Umoja’s team referring to deputy president William Ruto as a robber. While wondering why Ruto has not been charged with stealing, Mudavadi challenged President Uhuru Kenyatta to exercise his powers and arrest Ruto if he had evidence.
” People say William Ruto is a thief. If he is a thief, why haven’t you taken him to court all this while? It is almost ten years now,” Mudavadi said while calling on the Head of State to act if he and his team have evidence that the UDA party leader is a thief.
