Azimio, the umoja One Kenya coalition running mate, Hon. Martha Karua, has taken the Azimio La Umoja campaign to Nyeri county in central Kenya, where he is rallying support for Raila Odinga’s presidential bid ahead of the August general election.
Honourable Martha Katya was greeted by jubilant youths and supporters who continued to chant her name as she made her way to Nyeri town, where she will address supporters before wrapping up the day in the county.
Her supporters blocked her motorcade, forcing the outspoken politician to make a pit stop in the area where she spoke. She urged them to stand firm behind the Azimio teams and vote for leaders with integrity in the upcoming general election.
Her supporters were overjoyed after she addressed them, and she was later allowed to pass and head to Nyeri town, where she was to hold a mega rally.
