Moses Kuria, a Gatundu South Member of Parliament, has stated that his Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) party is in talks with Deputy President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza alliance ahead of the August presidential election.

Kuria said today on KTN that CCK is one of 21 parties discussing with the Kenya Kwanza brigade in the hopes of forming a large coalition. He stated that as a party, they have the spirit of cooperating with Kenya Kwanza, and that if they join the coalition, they will maintain their privileges as a party.

This follows the legislator’s denial of collaborating with Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja group, which has recently proclaimed his Kiambu gubernatorial run.
Some days back, Moses broke the news while addressing the mourners at the funeral of former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu’s mother, Monica Njeri Waititu, on Tuesday.
