As the campaign for the August elections heats up, President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP Ruto’s public squabbles continue.
And now, President Uhuru Kenyatta has indirectly told DP Ruto how he should act if he is elected as the country’s next President.
Raila Odinga, the President’s preferred successor, has been urged by Kenyans to vote for him.

In a direct message to DP Ruto, he stated that leadership necessitates humility rather than pride.
“I ask that we all band together under the banner of Azimio,” he said. “When I look to the left or right, I see no one else but Raila who has the ability to bring us all together, forgive us, and be calm and patient.”
“I don’t say that to despise anyone.
I don’t dislike anyone in particular, but there are some things that people dislike. We may forgive them one day when they remember that patience pays off, peace is important, and humility is a great virtue. The path to leadership is one of humility, not pride. “To be a leader, one must be humble,” said the President.
