For the larger part of this week, the Kenya Kwanza alliance has been in Western Province. They started with inhabitants of Vihiga, then moved on to Bungoma, and finally Busia County. They are currently in Kakamega, and will later travel to Transzoia County, where they will be able to complete their Western Kenya rallies.
Rashid Echesa, the former cabinet secretary for sports and cultural heritage, shocked Uhuru by comparing him to a dead body during the Kakamega rally.
After accusing Uhuru of blaming Ruto for abandoning his responsibilities as deputy president and going on campaign errands, he said so. He informs Uhuru that he no longer has any political clout and is consequently a political corpse.
He also accused Raila of assisting Mumias Sugar’s demise. He claims that his allies benefited the most from the money stolen from the massive sugar mill. He also cautioned Atwoli that if he wants to be respected, he must respect others.
