The general elections are less than a month away, and presidential candidates are doing everything they can to ensure that they succeed President Kenyatta. Raila and Ruto are without a doubt the best candidates to succeed Mr Kenyatta, and one of them will undoubtedly become Kenya’s fifth President. Political analysts and other stakeholders are continuing to investigate each of these candidates in order to help Kenyans understand who they are and why they should be given the opportunity.
Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru is one of those who has been researching the candidates. Ndegwa is a critic of DP Ruto, claiming that the DP is the person Kenyans see today for one reason. The lawyer claims that DP Ruto is bitter and indisciplined because he has never been out of politics since graduating from university. He claims that if Ruto had been exposed to the cold, he would be a different person today. Other candidates running against Ruto, such as Raila, have occasionally lost elections and been humbled.
“Deputy President William Ruto has never been out of power since he graduated from university,” Ndegwa said.
The outspoken lawyer has asked Kenyans to send the DP to the “trenches” by not voting for him so that he can learn a lesson or two. According to him, having the DP out for a while may help him shape into the politician that the country requires.
