A Nairobi car dealer is counting his losses after a vehicle rammed into his yard.
Citizen Digital obtained CCTV footage from an adjacent building that shows the vehicle colliding with several parked cars.
Several vehicles parked at the Mercedes Centre Limited yard on Ngong Road were damaged in the front as a result.
Nairobi traffic police chief Joshua Omukata told Citizen Digital that while the incident was not reported at the nearby Kilimani Police Station, they are treating it as a case of careless driving.
“I urge all road users to exercise extreme caution at all times.” “We’ve seen cases where an accident occurs as a result of a driver’s negligence on the road,” he added.
The majority of accidents in the capital, according to the traffic police chief, are avoidable. He urged drivers to be extra cautious, especially during rush hour.
