Deputy President moves to consolidate Rift territory, with an eye on Nyanza- DP William Ruto launched an aggressive campaign yesterday to consolidate his Rift Valley backyard. As Raila charms the region, recent polls show that his support in the North and South Rifts is below 60%.
Ruto has launched a campaign to ring fence the region in order to counter Raila Odinga’s push to turn it into a battleground. He divided his campaign teams into groups that traversed the north Rift yesterday.
Stalling talks to Woo about returning Kalonzo to Azimio.
