Muthama mocks Kalonzo’s presidential bid.

Johnson Muthama, a former Machakos senator, was laid to rest today in Kangundo.

According to Johnson Muthama, former Machakos senator and UDA party chairman, there are only two serious presidential candidates.

According to him, either Deputy President William Ruto or ODM leader Raila Odinga will win the presidency.

Muthama laughed off Kalonzo’s bid while attending a burial in Kangundo, urging him to drop his bid and join Kenya Kwanza.

“My brother Kalonzo says he will run until the end. I pity him; he should not lie to the people about going to the polls. I’ll go get him and bring him to Kenya Kwanza, where he’ll be safe. Blood is denser than water “Muthama stated.

“In politics, there is no man’s land; you have to belong somewhere, and this will be evident in the upcoming elections,” he added.

Muthama, a gubernatorial aspirant, has campaigned for DP Ruto, claiming that the odds favor him becoming the next President of Kenya.

“We have two people: a God-fearing Ruto and someone who has never heard of God. It is up to you to decide who will lead you. According to recent polls, Ruto is still in the lead, and we haven’t even started campaigning yet “He stated.

He also explained why he did not accompany DP Ruto on Friday’s tour of Machakos.

Muthama stated that he had visited several areas of Matungulu subcounty in order to meet the people.

“I had promised to visit those people and had already cancelled twice; there is no way I would cancel again. Ruto was fine, and I was confident that everything would be fine because he had other leaders “Muthama stated.

Muthama was accompanied by several UDA leaders to the burial of Johnson Kituku Musoo.

Musoo was a businessman, former councillor, and military veteran.
