Isaac Ruto, the leader of the Chama Cha Mashinani party, has stated that his party is a member of the Kenya Kwanza Coalition ahead of the August 9 general elections.

The CCM party leader now claims that he never intended to leave the Kenya Kwanza Coalition to join Azimio. Isaac Ruto was on the receiving end of criticism when he was not one of the 12 political parties that signed a coalition agreement with Kenya Kwanza Coalition in advance of supporting Kenya’s second in command, William Ruto.
