Governor Ann Waiguru of Jubilee has sent a strong warning to UDA aspirants in Mount Kenya, informing them that the party has well-planned nomination requirements and that no one has been given a straight ticket to run for any seat in the country on the party ticket.

Her comments come only days after Ngirici, a former UDA candidate for the same seat, stated publicly that UDA is awarding straight tickets to the biggest bidders and that there are no preparations for a free and fair nomination process in the upcoming elections.
Waiguru, who has been a vocal supporter of William Ruto, claims that individuals who are afraid of the nomination process have already left the party and should thus refrain from debating UDA problems because they are not members. In the approaching elections, Waiguru and Ngirici are anticipated to face off.
