There is only one day left before Kenyans go to the polls to elect their leaders. All aspirants have pledged to keep the peace and keep Kenya out of trouble. In addition, international election observers have been flying into the country to meet with candidates. The most recent is Uganda opposition leader Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine.
Kyagulanyi met with Raila Odinga and then posted on Facebook:
“I was pleased today to meet with and interact with Presidential Candidate Rt. Hon. Raila Omoro Odinga as part of our mission to observe the Kenyan Presidential Election scheduled for Tuesday.” Another member of our team met with Presidential Candidate William Ruto yesterday. I wish Kenya’s wonderful people a free, fair, credible, and peaceful election.
Election observers have expressed confidence in the IEBC’s ability to conduct a free and fair election. Their wish is for the elections to be free and fair.
