Today, reports surfaced indicating that Kenya’s president, Hon. Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, is set to meet with US President, Hon. Joe Biden, for the second time. According to Kenyans.co.ke, the US ambassador to Kenya has confirmed that the two presidents will meet, albeit it is unclear if the encounter will be actual or virtual.
The conference is solely intended to address President Joe Biden’s previous vow that his country will have an economic strategy based on reciprocal engagement with Africa. He made this commitment before being elected president a few years ago.
On the other side, the archbishop of Canterbury Church, Mr Justin Welby, who met with Dp Ruto today, is alleged to have invited ODM leader Hon Raila Odinga to a meeting in Britain. Welby stated that he will meet with Odinga next week, but Raila Odinga has not stated whether he will be accessible.
