The choice of running mate this time round is said to be majorly on the Mt Kenya region where there is high number of votes that will make a presidential candidate win the 2022 presidential seat.
Raila’s Preffered choice of running according to the poll results recently conducted and people’s opinions claim that Former Gatanga Member of Parliament Peter Kenneth us likely the Preffered DP for Raila.
Raila however dismissed that Peter Kenneth had not asked him of that chance. Methinks that Peter Kenneth if Chosen as Raila as a Deputy may not deliver huge amounts of votes to Raila’s presidential bid.
Reason being that Peter Kenneth has been innsctive in politics since he failed in 2017 Nairobi Gubernatorial race. Peter Kenneth himself is not a party leader and has got no Party.
Secondly, during the campaigns, Kenneth has not stood out as strong person by voice as compared to the likes of Rigathi Gachagua.
