During an interview on Citizen TV’s JKLive show, Narendra Raval, the Founder and Chairman of Devki Group of Companies, revealed that his company incurs expenses of around Ksh.2 billion every month.
This figure includes salaries and utility bills, such as electricity, for which his company pays Kenya Power approximately Ksh.900 million each month.
Raval commented on the impact of rising costs of living, highlighting that the same bills cost only Ksh.400 million a year ago, despite the company having alternative power sources.
Raval also disclosed that his company directly employs approximately 11,000 people and follows a policy of not doing business with the government. He added that 50% of the company’s income goes towards charitable causes.
