A dramatic scene was witnessed in Githurai at the Fountain Life Church, where the body of a night guard was discovered in one of the rooms, lifeless.
Emmanuel Wangatia, a 36-year-old security guard, was discovered dead in the church sentry after being murdered by unknown people. Worshippers who came to the church on Sunday were forced to pause the service in order for the police to conduct their investigations.
According to police reports, the sleuths discovered a broken window in the church that the assailants may have used to enter the premises and commit the heinous act.
According to the preliminary medical report, the security officer was hacked on the head, causing him to bleed to death. The police have since launched an investigation into the incident in order to find the perpetrators.
