Deputy President William Samoei Ruto is a well-known Kenyan politician. After more than two decades in Kenyan politics, the second in command has a strong following among the country’s foot soldiers. Hon Onesmus Kipchumba Murkomen, the current Elgeyo Marakwet senator, is one of these numerous foot soldiers.
The outspoken senator angrily reprimanded one of the highest-ranking government officials, PS Jerome Ochieng, a close friend of President Uhuru Kenyatta. This comes after he slammed efforts to support the arrest of Turkish investor Harun Aydin, who has ties to DP William Ruto.
PS Ochieng received unkind words from an angry Kipchumba Murkomen on his official Twitter account, telling him he was not behaving well . According to Senator Elgeyo Marakwet, the PS was humble when it came to applying for his current position, but now he feels overwhelmed. “Awuoro Kabisa … ” Murkomen’s tweet read in parts.
