A vocal legislator has sent a cold message to Kenya Kwanza, just hours after Raila Odinga drew large crowds in Mombasa. Raila was accompanied by his running mate Martha Karau on a tour of Mvita, where they were hosted by area MP Abdulswamad Nassir, who will be contesting the Mombasa Gubernatorial seat.
Kenyans, according to Nassir, should all vote for Raila because of his promise to fight corruption in the country. The Mvita legislator has pointed out that Kenya Kwanza, led by Deputy President William Ruto, has failed to mention corruption in their manifesto because you can’t fill a leaking pot.
Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir has also stated that Raila and Martha Karua have assured Coast residents that the port will be returned to Mombasa after it was relocated to Naivasha, leaving many people unemployed in Mombasa County.
