Two suspects, Kevin Ngechu and Maxwell Omukuba, have been arrested by detectives based in Starehe in connection with the murder of Job Chihonyi, a 25-year-old Utalii College student.
Chihonyi was killed on February 5, 2023, a short distance from the college along Thika Road. The suspects allegedly robbed Chihonyi of his mobile phone and stabbed him in the chest before fleeing on a motorcycle.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) reported the recovery of a mobile phone and a black motorcycle believed to have been used during the crime.
The suspects are in police custody and will face charges of murder.
