The most recent presidential poll results published by Kenya’s Star newspaper reveal the potential candidate who would take the big seat if elections were held today. While it is still unclear who will win the presidential election on August 9, the poll results published provide an overview of most Kenyans’ current position in the presidential election.

According to the most recent polls, Kenya Kwanza Alliance candidate William Ruto has 45.5 percent of the vote. DP Ruto, who is running for president for the first time as a member of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), will compete against other top candidates for the big job. Raila Odinga, the Azimio la Umoja movement’s flag bearer, comes in second with 41.3 percent, edging out Ruto by a narrow margin.
As a result, Raila Amolo Odinga, the leader of the Azimio One Kenya alliance, will have to conduct numerous campaigns in order to win the August election.
