Police in Kaimosi, Nandi county are searching for a 17-year-old suspect who killed his cousin last evening, following an argument over charging a mobile phone that turned tragic.
According to the DCI, Josphat Kibet, 31, was pronounced dead on arrival at Kapsabet County Referral hospital, from an arrow wound inflicted on him by the juvenile who is still at large.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the two had argued over who would charge their phone first, before the young man reached for an arrow, stabbed the deceased on the left side of his chest before taking off.
A manhunt for the suspect is currently ongoing.
