Deputy President Ruto campaigned in Kipipiri constituency to pitch the UDA party’s program and to entice voters to pick him as Kenya’s fifth president simply because he knows how the government works. DP Ruto was compelled to break his lecture short and ask hustlers to lower their burners, as well as those blowing the trumpet, to desist, as he disclosed that it will be utilized by God when he takes his people to paradise.
“Tafadhali mtulie, wewe mtu was tarumbeta tulia kwa kuwa Mungu atatumia tarumbeta siku ya mwisho akichukuwa watu wake. Mimi natambua mashinda ni kati yangu na Raila. Na nyinyi mtaamua kulingana na track record kwa kuwa yeye pia alikuwa prime minister,” Ruto said.
