Early yesterday evening, during am interview at KTN News, Gatundu South Member of parliament Moses Kuria states that there are plans to form a coalition between his party, Chama Cha Kazi (CCK) and Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance. These news are a clear indication that Kirinyaga women representative will be forced back to Ruto’s camp through the merger.

Ngirici left UDA moments after Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru joined forces with Dp Ruto. She joined Moses Kuria’s Chama Cha Kazi. With formation of this new coalition, her nightmare of having to battle with Waiguru in the Kirinyaga gubernatorial race under the same party ticket will still haunt her

Ngirici may be forced to run the race independently if the deputy president shows favouritism to Waiguru over her. She may also opt to join other party, especially the Azimio coalition spearheaded by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. The latter will be a big blow to Dp Ruto and his camp.
