Not long ago, Uhuru Kenyatta appeared to snub shaking hands with his deputy president, William Ruto. Uhuru’s actions sparked a heated online debate between Ruto’s supporters and Uhuru’s supporters. However, such a public figure should not send such a petty message. William Ruto is ready to compete for the presidency with Raila Odinga.
Since their bitter feud, much has been said about both Uhuru and Ruto. Ndindi Nyoro, a close friend of Ruto, has revealed new details about how William Ruto is suffering in silence. According to Nyoro, even when on official duty, William Ruto is forced to pay for all of his expenses, including fuel.
The government is supposed to cover Ruto’s transportation costs, but it does not. Even when traveling on official business, William Ruto must pay for his own tickets. He must also use his own money to serve the visitor in his office.
Ndindi Nyoro went on to reveal how the Kenyan president handles phone calls from his deputy president. Uhuru Kenyatta does not appear to return William Ruto’s phone calls. Here’s a link to the complete video on YouTube:
