Alfred Mutua recently attempted to expose the Azimio party mission ahead of the August polls, claiming that the Azimio party requested the use of both manual and electronic voter registration as they may intend to cheat on the results. However, his statement lacks strong evidence as to why he said so; this could simply be his imagination or an idea lacking facts and evidence.
Surprisingly, his request to the Independent Election and Boundaries Commission for the installation of cameras in all locations that will be used during the analysis and counting of votes is a good one because both citizens and presidential aspirants will accept fair and just elections.
The government should preach peace and unity ahead of the polls, but citizens should also participate in this election because the majority of citizens will not vote because they are still undecided.
