Some women leaders have criticized the Kenya Kwanza alliance’s women charter, which was held today at Nyayo stadium in Nairobi. Charity Ngilu, the current governor of Kitui Mama, has condemned Deputy President William Ruto for exploiting women. Charity Ngilu has slammed Kenya Kwanza’s presidential candidate after the women charter coalition agreement was signed by the coalition’s co-principals rather than women. This led her to the conclusion that women only received promises while men seized power.
Kenyan women can only get promises from @WilliamsRuto’s government, while men hold all the power. She tweeted, “Hint, the coalition agreement is only signed by men “principals”#AnatapeliWamama.”
