President Uhuru Kenyatta allegedly paid Wiper party chairman Kalonzo Musyoka ksh3 billion to rejoin Azimio – One Kenya, according to Moses Kuria, a Gatundu South Member of Parliament and Kiambu gubernatorial candidate.
According to Kuria, Kalonzo set a new record as the second person to receive a large sum from the coalition, following Raila Odinga’s alleged 2007 deal with former President Mwai Kibaki, in which he (Raila) walked away with ksh10 billion.

“Ksh 3 billion transfer fee.” It comes in second only to the Ksh 10 billion that Jakom received to cool down the country after 2017. Congratulations, SKM. “Hata wewe sio mtoto wa paka,” Kuria said.
Kalonzo previously abandoned Azimio – One Kenya to run for president on the Wiper party platform.
Raila left the Azimio – One Kenya coalition after choosing Martha Karua as his running mate.
Raila, on the other hand, appointed Kalonzo as Chief Cabinet Minister in the Azimio administration.
Kalonzo jumped from the ship, revealing Narok senator candidate Andrew Sunkuli as his key presidential campaign assistant.
Raila may be able to secure Ukambani votes for the Azimio – One Kenya vote basket if Uhuru can persuade Kalonzo to rejoin the Azimio – One Kenya alliance.
