Ann Mumbu Waiguru has been named as William Ruto’s choice for the Kirinyaga Gubernatorial seat. This occurred at a rally in Kigio, where hundreds of UDA supporters had gathered to hear from the Kenya kwanza team.
The charged crowd erupted in applause when Ann Waiguru was given the microphone to address the large crowd that had gathered nearby.
As expected, anti-Ngirici chants filled the air, with locals vowing to vote for Ann Waiguru, claiming that under her leadership, the county of Kirinyaga has seen tremendous growth, with major hospitals and farms benefiting greatly.
Waiguru, on the other hand, thanked the deputy president for his confidence in her and promised to deliver over 80% of the total votes cast in Mt Kenya and Kirinyaga to William Ruto and the Kenya Kwanza team.
