Due to technical issues during a cargo plane’s attempted takeoff, the runway at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) was closed temporarily.
As a result, all incoming and outgoing flights were suspended, as confirmed by the Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) in a statement.
The KAA emphasized the importance of passenger safety and is working closely with the relevant authorities to resolve the situation quickly and safely.
