Kitui Senator Enoch Wambua has now claimed that if a camp or an opponent in a political race senses defeat and expresses it by complaining, that camp should be considered to be losing.
According to Wambua, who spoke with KTN News on Tuesday evening, Deputy President William Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza Alliance team have been making complaints day in and day out, and there is no doubt that they have sensed that the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance, which is led by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his running mate Martha Karua, will win the elections in August and form the next government.
“If you have a competitor who starts complaining about anything and everything in an electoral process and from the blues, they become toxic and almost violent,” Wambua said.
Ruto and his team have raised concerns about Cabinet Secretaries campaigning for Raila, calling for their prosecution. They have also claimed that nearly one million voters have ‘disappeared’ from the voters register, urging the IEBC to investigate and have a clean register, and they have dismissed opinion polls that show Raila is ahead of the DP.
