In a public post on his social media timeline, the Gatundu South Member of Parliament hinted at his next political move in ten years.
The lawmaker credited Deputy President Hon. William Ruto for his success, claiming that he was the first person to root for him to become the Gatundu South member of Parliament.
“On this day eight years ago, William Ruto came to campaign for me in the Gatundu South by-election.”
He stated that he returned to the same location eight years later to support the Kenya Kwanza Alliance presidential candidate in his statehouse bid.
“We stood on the same spot for the eighth year as I campaigned for Ruto to be President.”
The MP went on to say that if everything goes as planned, Ruto should be able to return to the helm within the next ten years, implying that he’ll be running for president within the next ten years.
“God willing, he will now repay the favor in 10 years. Friendship that lasts.”
