Children abled differently from the Naromoru children home for the disabled, alongside parents, friends and relatives, embarked on a 20km walk hiking Mt kenya. To raise hospital bills and school fees.
The hike is expected to raise Ksh 5m to aid in paying for corrective surgeries and secondary school tuition fees for students heading to form one with the County government asked to develop strategic programs to ensure funds are raised for children`s home in Kenya and ensure it is well distributed.
Naromoru Children Home was established 40 years ago and has been relying on donations and grants with the management calling on the community around to support them.
The home is home to children abled differently with the aim of making it in life just like any other child, by giving them hope.
