On Monday, Deputy President William Ruto was in Karen, where he signed a charter between the Kenya Kwanza government and the youth. Almost all Kenya Kwanza principles attended, including Musalia Mudavadi of the ANC, Moses Wetangula of FORD Kenya, and Alfred Mutua of Maendeleo Chap Chap.
It was a one-of-a-kind occasion. However, one taking point that drew the attention of Kenyans was William Ruto’s casual attire. He was dressed nicely in a sweater with yellow and green stripes, the colors of UDA, and blue casual jeans.
Ruto completed the look with some slick yellow and green Nike sneakers. Still the colors of his UDA party. Kenya Kwanza was also written on the back of the sneakers.
The Kenya Kwanza Youth Charter promises to create more job opportunities for youth while also protecting and promoting existing youth enterprises through interest-free loans.
Perhaps William Ruto dressed casually in order to appeal to the youth. The outfit was an assurance of his government’s commitment to youth support.
