Deputy President Dr William Ruto’s presidential running mate Rigathi Gachagua, according to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru, is a blessing to the Azimio la Umoja Movement-One Kenya Alliance coalition ahead of the August 9 general elections because of how he speaks in public during campaigns.
Mucheru stated in an interview with KTN news television that the choice of Narc Kenya Party leader Hon Martha Karua is a very good move that will help them as Azimio to win the presidency over Rigathi Gachagua of Kenya Kwanza Alliance. Because of how he speaks during rallies, Gachagua has turned out to be a blessing for Azimio.
Mucheru went on to say that whenever Gachagua speaks, he gives Azimio some votes because, for example, he has made controversial statements like demolishing Safaricom to give the money to the poor. He also told his presidential candidate, William Ruto, that he should be inviting people from the Mount Kenya region to Sagana State Louge to eat rice and meat.
