Fox News Saturday Primetime Lineup to Change Following Departure of Dan Bongino

Fox News has announced that it will no longer be working with Dan Bongino, the host of Unfiltered, a conservative talk show that has been on air since June 2021. Bongino also previously hosted a streaming show on Fox Nation called Canceled in the USA.

Bongino stated on his syndicated radio program that the decision not to renew his contract was due to an inability to agree on terms with the network. The final episode of Unfiltered was aired on Fox News on April 15.

Although Bongino was offered the opportunity to do one final episode, he declined. “The most important events in my life I learned about on Fox News,” he said, reflecting on his time at the network.

Fox News thanked Bongino for his contributions and wished him well in his future endeavors.

Bongino, who was previously a Fox News contributor, originally hosted Unfiltered on Saturdays in the 10 p.m. hour. However, the show was moved up to 9 p.m. in January 2022 when Jeanine Pirro joined The Five. Unfiltered was a consistent ratings performer for Fox News, with its last show ranking as the most-watched Saturday primetime cable news show.

This coming Saturday, Lawrence Jones Cross Country will be aired in place of Bongino’s show. The network will reveal more information about its Saturday 9 p.m. hour in the coming weeks when it announces a new schedule.
