Akothee, the flamboyant singer and entrepreneur, also known as Esther Akoth, has returned to school to complete a course she started around 14 years ago.
After her highly publicized wedding, she announced that she is currently taking exams to complete her third bucket list item after a long break from school.
Akothee is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Management degree at Mount Kenya University’s Kisii campus, specializing in Human Resource.
She revealed her plan to pursue her Masters as well. Akothee shared her news on Instagram, where she has 3.4 million followers, and also hinted at throwing a party after completing her exams.
In a brief phone interview, Akothee explained that despite her wealth, she realized the importance of education and was doing it not only for herself but also for her mother. She plans to get a job and work like everyone else.
