A legal battle is expected to begin tomorrow at Kenya’s Supreme Court. The legal council of the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Alliance coalition will file the presidential election petition tomorrow. Azimio la Umoja of the IEBC will face off against President-elect William Samoei Arap Ruto.
The Kenya Kwanza coalition has already suffered a setback with the withdrawal of senior council Ahmed Nassir from the case. He has stated that a conflict of interest will be raised by Uhuru Kenyatta, the current president, because he litigated for him in 2017.
He has stated that he would be barred from participating in the case due to the fact that Uhuru Kenyatta is currently supporting Raila Amollo Odinga. This is a huge blow to the coalition because he is one of its most devoted members. Please share your thoughts in the section below.
