After rubbing shoulders with coalition partners, Raila was forced to explain his six-part voting pattern.

Raila Odinga, the leader of the ODM party and the Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate, has now been forced to come out and clarify what he meant by his request for a six-piece voting pattern.

Mr. Odinga had previously asked voters to adopt a six-piece voting system in order for him to form the next government in the August elections.

He did, however, provide additional clarifications on the matter yesterday, April 20, while issuing Nomination Certificates to Aspirants at Kenya’s Bomas.

He went on to say that his main goal is to make the ODM the largest political party in Kenya.

The call for a six-piece voting pattern, according to KANU party secretary general Nick Salat, is not a wise decision.

“We will not be able to secure the most presidential votes if he continues on his current path. It is preferable for him to allow other parties to compete because he is still the beneficiary “Salat stated.

Raila’s presidency, on the other hand, would suffer as a result of the approach, according to Jubilee party Vice Chair David Murathe.

“People will not vote if you say it is a monolith, ODM. That’s what we did in 2017, for example, in North Eastern, where we said jubilee lined up four or five parties, all of which voted for President Uhuru Kenyatta at the top “He told the press.
