Partick Ngare, Kelvin Mwaura, and Muke Wa Mansoni have been accused of obtaining Ksh. 64 million through deception from Sadeghain Abolfazi in the Kilimani area of Nairobi between April 2021 and April 14th, 2023.
The three individuals are also facing charges of obtaining money under false pretenses.
Court documents indicate that they falsely claimed to be able to sell 60 kilograms of gold to Sadegh Sadeghain Abolfaz, despite knowing that it was not true.
On Wednesday, they appeared before chief magistrate Lukas Onyina, and their bail application will be decided on April 19.
