Politicians are now preparing to face their opponents on August 9th of this year. Even before the IEBC announces the exact dates for official campaigns to begin, those vying for various political positions are out in the public looking for votes. Kenyan registered voters are expected to form long lines at polling stations to vote for their political leaders, who will rule them for the next five years.
Ruto has formed an alliance called Kenya Kwanza to help him keep his supporters together across the country ahead of the August elections. Mudavadi and senator Moses Wetangula signed an agreement to collaborate with William Ruto ahead of the August elections.
Ruto availed a plan on how Kenya Kwanza alliance might share power,Mudavadi’s side would produce a prime cabinet secretary,Wetangula’s party to produce the speaker of the national assembly on the condition that Ruto gets 70 percent of the votes in western region.
Some alliance leaders are concerned about the issue of power sharing. Mr William Kabogo now claims that he will leave the coalition because some coalition parties have been given more slots than others. Tujibebe Kenya’s party leader stated that he is willing to leave the alliance if things do not go as planned.
If Kabogo decides to leave the alliance, will he automatically join the Azimio Movement?
