Hon Musalia Mudavadi, leader of the Amani National Congress, has reiterated that he has never joined Deputy President Dr William Ruto’s allied United Democratic Alliance.
During an interview with Kenyan local TV station KTN News, the vocal leader revealed that his heart is in the Amani National Congress political party, where he serves as party leader, and that he has no plans to leave the party.
Mudavadi insisted that his ANC, Ford Kenya under Moses Wetangula’s leadership, and the upcoming United Democratic Alliance are the three sovereign parties that founded the Kenya Kwanza political faction.
“I must state unequivocally that I have never been a member of UDA. We are the founding parties of Kenya Kwanza…the ANC, Ford Kenya, and the United Democratic Alliance “Mudavadi stated this.
Mudavadi’s remarks come just months after he defected from Raila’s allied Azimio One Kenya coalition party to Kenya Kwanza.
