“Azimio Iko Na Wenyewe” Moses Kuria explains why he prefers Kenya Kwanza over Azimio.

Moses Kuria, a Gatundu South member of parliament, now claims that the main reason he prefers to talk with Deputy President William Ruto’s led Kenya Kwanza Alliance is because the camp provides an opportunity for everyone, and members are given a listening ear.

In an interview with KTN News on Wednesday, Kuria said that ODM leader Raila Odinga’s Azimio La Umoja alliance is ‘controlled’ by some people, making it difficult for someone to be heard.

“If I look at the two formations Azimio and Kenya Kwanza, I have a better opportunity to instill my vision and policies inside Kenya Kwanza than Azimio. I can say a ‘no’ in Kenya Kwanza and I will be heard, not like in Azimio. The people in my constituency and those who follow me am sure they would want the same,” said Kuria.

His remarks comes few days after he revealed that he was in talks with at least 21 other political parties in bis to join hands with UDA led by Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC and Moses Wetangula’s Ford Kenya under the Kenya Kwanza banner.

Some of the leaders allied to Kenya Kwanza has been terming Azimio as an alliance that is being controlled by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
