On Sunday, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang’ula expressed confidence in a smooth bipartisan engagement in Parliament.
In a statement, he assured that the approach will foster peace and promised to provide the necessary facilities to ensure its smooth running.
This development follows the acceptance by Azimio leader Raila Odinga of President William Ruto’s appeal to call off the countrywide demonstrations and engage in a bipartisan approach to find solutions.
While Raila maintained that they would resume the demonstrations if Ruto fails to take them seriously, he unveiled a seven-member team to dialogue with Ruto’s camp.
The team comprises of senators Ledama Ole Kina, Edwin Sifuna, Enoch Wambua, and Malindi MP Amina Mnyanzi, as well as MPs Millie Odhiambo, David PKosing, and Otiende Amollo. Kenya Kwanza is yet to unveil its team members for the truce talks with Azimio.cooperate with the investigations.
