Moses Wetangula, a senator from Bungoma and the leader of the Ford Kenya party, has been chastised by Sirisia Member of Parliament Hon John Waluke for his careless treatment of his brother, Tim Wanyonyi. He described Wetangula as a man who never came to the aid of his younger brother, Tim Wanyonyi, especially when he was most in need.
Waluke stated on Wednesday, April 27, at the launch of the Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati Scholarship program in Sirisia, that “Tim Wanyonyi ran for governor of Nairobi, but instead of supporting him, Wetang’ula began demeaning him. Tim was not born this way. He was born like any other human being. So, at the very least, Wetang’ula should respect him.”
He took advantage of the opportunity to rally support for Raila Odinga, the presidential candidate of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party. Waluke, who defected from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party of Deputy President William Ruto and joined President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party, accused Moses Wetangula and Ken Lusaka of using a number of MCAs to undermine Wycliffe Wangamati’s administration.
