Former Migori Governor Okoth Obado, Micheal Oyamo, and Caspal Obiero are set to face trial this year from July 17 to July 21, with additional hearing dates on July 24–28, for the murder of Sharon Otieno and her unborn child.
Justice Cecelia Githua, who was transferred to Muranga station, will continue presiding over the case, and during the case mention on Wednesday, she urged all parties involved to cooperate with the court to resolve the matter.
The prosecution disclosed that 18 witnesses are yet to testify, with 24 witnesses having already taken the stand.
