Support Baba And Azimio,’ Uhuru Says As He Campaigns For Raila In Nairobi

President Uhuru Kenyatta has urged Nairobi citizens to back Raila Odinga, the leader of the Azimio la Umoja movement, ahead of the August polls.
Following the opening of the Margaret Kenyatta Children Hospital in Korogocho, Mathare, the Head of State advised against leaders peddling misinformation and politicizing government agendas for political advantage.

The President told “boda boda” riders and other small traders that the government does not intend to frustrate them, as some politicians have claimed, but rather is striving to improve their well-being.

“We have no objections to anyone conducting their business properly. “I will arrange for a meeting with you as soon as possible so that we can work together to strengthen the sector and ensure you get the most out of your sweat,” the President informed boda boda riders.

“As leaders, we will sit down and agree on a course of action….
So hold Raila Hand” President Kenyatta posed for the crowd, who applauded in approval.

Threats and insults will not deter him from continuing to better the lives of Kenyans, he said.

“I will stick to my conviction that national unity is the most crucial factor in the country’s development and progress. President Kenyatta stated, “I hope that justice will triumph over threats and insults.”

He emphasized his accomplishments over the last nine years, stating that he had a track record in the health sector and infrastructure, emphasizing that he had seen a new dawn in the provision of competent medical treatment.

“We launched 24 health facilities, 18 of which have been finished, and they have serviced over 4 million inhabitants of Nairobi County’s informal settlements,” Kenyatta remarked.
