Sonko claims Raila’s move to Lamu was a snub and posts a video of Raila leaving the crowd.

Nairobi ex-governor Mike Sonko has slammed the Azimio la Umoja camp, claiming that they found ground shifting in Lamu, where they arrived on Friday to campaign ahead of the August elections.

The IEBC barred Sonko from running for governor of Mombasa after the court ruled that his impeachment should remain in place until he is cleared. He ran for the Wiper Party, which was led by Kalonzo Musyoka. Wiper Party is one of the parties that formed the Azimio la Umoja Coalition.

Raila is seen heading to his chopper in a bad mood in a video posted by Sonko on his Twitter account, while the Lamu Women Representative is heard alleging that Raila is a good person but they don’t know it yet.

“Moto on the ground! The Sonko Intelligence team received this Lamu video yesterday. Lamu Kuzimia leaders led by Women Rep Captain Ruwaida tell Baba the truth in his face that the Ground ni moto.” Sonko made a post on his account.

This comes just a few days before the general election on August 9th.
