According to my opinion and that of many other political pundits such as David Matsanga and Prof Mutai Ngunyi, among others, President Uhuru Kenyatta has trust and confidence in his handshake partner and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition presidential candidate Rt Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga to continue with his government’s agenda.
Kenya, according to President Uhuru Kenyatta, should continue on its path of democracy, development, and peace consolidation.
He has consistently assured Kenyans that his government is determined to provide the resources needed to hold free, fair, transparent, and credible elections.
He wants to ensure that when the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Coalition wins the August 9 elections and Hon. Raila Odinga is declared Kenya’s next President, everyone is satisfied with the process.
Most importantly, President Kenyatta has previously publicly endorsed Raila Odinga and is ready and prepared to campaign vigorously throughout Kenya to ensure Raila Odinga wins on the first ballot in the August 9 elections.
