The Azimio La Umoja brigade held a rally in Laikipia county today, led by Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Odinga. According to social media platforms, the Azimio La Umoja presidential candidate Hon Raila Odinga’s Convoy arrived in Nyahururu Town in style and was greeted warmly by the residents.
According to reports on social media, the entire town of Nyahururu was packed with people who came out to greet the Azimio La Umoja leaders. Raila Odinga urged residents to support his presidential ambitions in the upcoming general election in his speech. He also urged young people to keep the peace as we approach the next general election.
Former presidential candidate Peter Kenneth was among the leaders who accompanied former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Other leaders include Suna East MP Hon Junet Muhammed, Hon Sabina Chege, Orange Democratic Movement Party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, and Kisii Governor Hon James Ongwae.
