The Ministry of Health has revealed that the food consumed by girls at Mukumu Girls’ Secondary School was contaminated with fresh fresh feces, according to a statement made by Director General for Health Patrick Amoth on Friday.
The statement further stated that the disease is likely a mixture of E. coli and Salmonella typhi, which can occur if water sources are contaminated with these microorganisms.
